Response to Amazon’s new Letter
Well, now the guy at Hachette has responded to the letter-writing campaign that Amazon started over the weekend. 
He makes his point well, quickly and succinctly. The publisher has a strong case, as does Amazon. I appreciate the efforts of the retailer for trying to keep prices low, but at the same time I’d like to believe that there is some middle ground where publishers/authors can still make a living. Where that is seems to be up on the air.
